How does a Auting Connect trip work?

Making a booking
To rent on Auting Connect, all you need is your smartphone. Simply search and select the car you wish to rent, ensure it meets your requirements, and proceed to book.

Once the trip is confirmed by the Owner
Go to your Auting Connect trip to verify your profile and pay online.

The day of the trip
Go to Your trips > Click on the trip > Locate the vehicle. You can locate the car 30 minutes before the beginning of the trip. (Note: You won’t be able to begin your trip until the exact start time of your booking written in the App).

Once there, you'll be required to:
- Take pictures of the car
- Unlock the car.
- Retrieve the keys from inside the car.

During the trip
Use the car with the keys, as you normally would (to unlock, lock it, and start it).

End of the trip
- Return the car with the same level of fuel as at check-in.
- Put the keys back inside in the glovebox.
- Go back on the Auting app and take pictures of the car.
- Declare any damage or problem that happened during the trip and lock the car using the app.

If you don’t lock the car with your smartphone, it will remain open! Any trouble caused by not closing the car will be sustained against you. In case of problems, contact the owner directly.
